A coreless motor is a slotless electric motor that eliminates iron cores to deliver ultra-smooth rotation, fast response, and high efficiency in compact motion systems

Coreless motors are ideal for applications that require low inertia, zero cogging torque, quiet operation, and precise speed control.

They are widely used in medical devices, robotics, optical systems, laboratory instruments, UAVs, and compact automation equipment, especially where smooth motion and fast acceleration are critical.

Coreless Motor Product Overview

A coreless motor (also referred to as a slotless motor or ironless motor) is designed without laminated iron cores in the rotor or stator.

Instead of slots and teeth, the windings are self-supporting, which dramatically reduces inertia and eliminates cogging torque.

This structural difference allows coreless motors to achieve:

  • Faster acceleration and deceleration
  • Extremely smooth rotation
  • High efficiency even at low speeds
  • Minimal vibration and acoustic noise

These advantages make coreless motors a preferred solution in precision motion control systems.
